Thank you for an unforgettable Fietselfstedentocht 2025!

What a day it was! The 2025 edition of the Fietselfstedentocht was one to remember. With beautiful weather, a unique atmosphere and thousands of enthusiastic participants, we look back on a truly fantastic event.

A total of 13,643 cyclists crossed the finish line in Bolsward — a remarkable achievement by all riders. Among them were Mrs. Tecla Sikkes – Brandsma and Mrs. Akke Terbraak, the first women ever to complete the tour 50 times, and Mr. Wiebe Tolsma, who now holds the record with 66 finishes! Our deepest respect to these incredible heroes.

A big thank you to all volunteers and partners who made this day possible — your contribution is truly invaluable. And of course, a heartfelt thank you to the spectators along the route for your encouragement and for creating the one-of-a-kind Fietselfstedentocht atmosphere.

Join us for the MTB-11stedentocht on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 August 2025. Starting from the heart of the Elfsteden — Bolsward — we’ll cycle through stunning natural areas on unpaved routes.

• On Saturday we ride the northern loop (approx. 195 km)
• On Sunday the southern loop (approx. 140 km)
  The entry fee for both days is €80.
