Pre-announcement Registration Fietselfstedentocht 2026

The registration for the Fietselfstedentocht 2026 has been announced. On Whit Monday, 25 May 2026, once again 15,000 cyclists will line up at the start of this unique cycling event through the eleven Frisian cities. Do you want to be part of it? Below you’ll find all the information about pre-registration, general registration, and the lottery process.

Pre-registration

Pre-registration runs from 1 November to 23 November. Cyclists who have already completed the tour five times or more, including at least once in the past four years, will receive a personal invitation by email.

General registration

General registration is open from 1 December to 21 December. Anyone aged 16 and older can register during this period through their personal account on our website.

Lottery if more than 15,000 registrations

Since there is a maximum of 15,000 entries, a lottery will be held if more registrations are received. The results will be announced by email on 22 December. If you receive confirmation, you can finalise your participation by ordering and paying for your entry card.

Register together = ride together

During general registration, you can also choose to register together with others. This way you participate in the lottery as a group and start in the same starting group. This is possible for groups of up to 20 people.
